The museum was opened in 1996. In the Karelian inner room, you can familiarise yourselves with the life of Loyanitsy Karelians and even greet the hostess. Old household utensils will tell you a story about the life of peasants and the tools about the activities of the ancestors.
More than 480 objects are presented in the museum. The most valuable of these are a copper sauce pan from 1604 and samovars from the granary factory of Abishev. You will have an opportunity to play old games of the Ludik Karelians or learn how to weave rugs on an old Karelian loom belonging to the Galashev family.
